Earth to Bryan

Earth to Bryan

Thought I'd take a break from the full-on fur looks, tone myself down a bit and wear earthy colours at the shows today. My friend Andy from StyleScrapbook took these shots after exiting the Lanvin show.

Before Miu Miu Spring Summer 2011

It's the last show in the Paris Fashion Week calendar and I didn't plan ending the spring 2011 show season without a bang.

Bryanboy at the Spring/Summer 2011 Shows

Bryanboy at the Spring/Summer 2011 Shows

As you know, it's been a crazy fashion month. Come to think of it, I only did three cities this time around (New York, Milan and Paris). Hopefully I'll do London next season. Here are some photos from the 'Front Row' sections of Style.com/Style.it (the Italian version of Style.com). This entry was inspired by the entry I did during the fall/winter 2010 shows.

Mademoiselle Agnès Paris Restaurant Recommendation

Mademoiselle Agnès Paris Restaurant Recommendation

I'm sure you're familiar of Mademoiselle Agnès. In my opinion, she's the best woman coming out of French television. I'm a big fan of her work and her sense of humor. Mademoiselle Agnès and legendary fashion documentarymaker Loïc Prigent filmed me in Paris.

We had a chat after the Valentino show and because I didn't have a pen and paper at the time, I used my camera to take note of her restaurant recommendation: Thoumieux.

Speaking of Valentino, omg, Mademoiselle Agnès had a really funny idea before the show. She wanted to find a French intern for me so we both trolled faces on the front row. She then approached the super chic Virginie Mouzat and asked her if she's willing to intern for me. It was hysterical! Virginie then replied by saying I should work for her not the other way around. My oh my. I wonder what the footage looks like on cam.

Extraordinary Edward Enninful

Extraordinary Edward Enninful

Wherever I go, I do my best to live by this question: when was the last time you did something for the first time?

The Paris collections are in full swing and in between shows, I added another "first". The very kind folks of i-D Magazine, Terry & Tricia Jones, invited me to have lunch with Edward Enninful. I've always wanted to meet him as I'm a total fan of his work -- for i-D, for American & Italian Vogue, for Lanvin, etc. He's one of the most talented and creative tastemakers and I have nothing but sheer admiration and respect for the man behind the inspirational images I've seen in fashion over the years.

It's All About A Coloured Coat

It's All About A Coloured Coat

It's 3:08AM. Temperatures are finally dropping. Autumn is here!

Paris is the most beautiful city in the world but I dislike being here during summer. In my opinion, fall is the best time of the year. It's fun to layer up, play with different fabrics, textures and silhouettes. I like roaming around town without breaking into a sweat.

Me after the Vionnet presentation

Thought I'd share some photos of me from yesterday. Well, earlier today. Hah!

Don't do to others what you don't want others do to you

Don't do to others what you don't want others do to you

This is quite funny. At the Damir Doma menswear show in Paris, me and my buddy Isaac of Isaaclikes.com had a laugh because someone stole my seat. It was this really, really tall ogre. I pointed to Isaac how big his feet were. When the guy wasn't looking, I asked Isaac to take a stolen snapshot of my sample-sized (that's model size 40/41 women's to you so if you have ferocious shoes, send them my way kthxbye) feet beside his supersized bonanza special.

Bryanboy Kenzo Python Wedges

Fast forward a month and a half later, I received an email earlier today from a reader in Switzerland. His name is Adrien.

Bonsoir Bryan,

I did this video of your lovely shoes at Damir Doma's show on the 26th of June. They seemed very confortable! Then I saw you at Schwuz in Berlin, same shoes you weared, did you? You were busy on the dancefloor, but nice to watching you! you're very inspiring.

So, here at last I send you the video!

If your fashion instinct guide you to Geneva (Switzerland, who knows!) tell me, it will be my pleasure to show you the place.

So while Isaac and I were taking stolen snapshots of my fragile feet, there's this other guy taking a video and masturbating over my lovely Kenzo python wedges. Haha!

Like the old saying goes, don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you.

Oh what am I talking about, I'm a cam whore. I say bring it on haha :P

I kid, I kid you.

Thank you Adrien for bringing a smile to my face!

Lunch With Linus Gustin [i heart male models]

Lunch With Linus Gustin

Back in Paris, me and my pals Sonny and Isaac thought it was a good idea to have (very) late lunch before the spectacular Damir Doma show. A few minutes after my order arrived, male model Linus Gustin rolled up  beside me. He was on his way to the show venue but he was starving. He asked us how long it took for our food to arrive and I told him it wasn't very long so he joined our table. I thought I was gonna die -- hello, how often do you have lunch with male models? I'm talking about real, working models not "models". Anyway, I found out he's Swedish. Y'all know how I go weak in the knees when it comes to Swedish guys. There I was, in Paris, having a beautiful meal with friends, enjoying a nice glass of rose and I've got some eye candy beside me. It was icing on the cake!

The One

The One

How do I know he's The One?

Pigeon in Paris

Well picture a gray and drizzly morning in Paris. I wanted to stay in bed, he wanted to brave the weather and go to Notre Dame. I agreed to haul my ass outdoors on the condition that we stop by a store first to get an umbrella.

Narnia's Closet?

Narnia's Closet? If you can guess...

I'll give you a bear hug and an oreo cookie if you can guess where this photo was taken.

No, it's not Narnia.

It's in Paris, yes, but where in Paris? Do your best guess.

Caption This: Bryanboy and French Police

My panties drop every time I see men in uniform. This time, it's the French police in Paris.

French Police

Click HERE for the full-sized version. I didn't know (until now) there was another policeman inside the van behind me. Scary!

So, take your pick.

  • Police raid upon MC Hammer botched Mexican plastic surgery clinic
  • Fashion police finally catch up with "guru" Bryanboy
  • Acting like a cop: you're doing it wrong
  • Idiot-proof camouflage doesn't work
  • Police finally catch up with zebra dressed as a gay weather balloon
  • Police give hostile reception to new uniform
  • Budget cutbacks meant producers of "Police Gangbang 4" had to cut corners when hiring the Asian bottom.
  • Bryanboy Live! from Swansea.
  • Black policeman seethes with jealousy at the new arrival of an even more politically-correct recruit.

Well?

Russian Sailor Hat

Russian Sailor Hat

As much as I want to tell you all that a hot, tall, blond, well-hung Russian sailor gave me my hat in exchange for a blowjob, sadly it is not the case because I bought it for like $10 from a souvenier stall during a recent trip to St. Petersburg.

Bryanboy and Nicola Formichetti

From my camera:
Bryanboy and Nicola Formichetti

I wore it to Dunhill in Paris where, after the show, I shared a ciggie with good ol' Nicola Formichetti. I always have the most interesting conversations with him. This time around he asked when I'm visiting the USA next and whether I've been to a Lady Gaga concert. I told him I've never been to a Lady Gaga concert because it's so hard to get tickets and the good seats always get sold out quickly. Well, no tickets, no problem. Just give him a buzz and I'll be a guest of Gaga. Natch! Now all I need to do is wear hooker boots and a thong. I kid, I kid.

Gaga aside, I have nothing but sheer admiration for Nicola's talent. He is truly one of the most inspirational and creative people I know. One of my dreams in life is to get the Formichetti treatment. Can you imagine what I'd look like (and the sort of pictures as a result) if he strip me stark bollock naked, give me a makeover (I'm not talking Clueless Cher and Tai makeovers), style me into a real-life fashion editorial and made me werq like the rent is due tomorrow? One can only wish.

Meanwhile, I wore the same hat at the New York, New York party I co-hosted at the legendary Parisian club, Le Montana.
