Safe Bet
Nothing beats popping by McDonald's at the wee hours of the night for a post-booze binge bite.
It's all about double cheese burgers, chicken nuggets and large fries.

Bryanboy for i-D Magazine and Swatch
Have you picked up the 30th Anniversary Special/Fall 2010 issues of i-D Magazine? It features Daisy Lowe, Lindsey Wixson, Kristen McMenamy, Liya Kebede and Joan Smalls on the cover. I got myself the Joan Smalls cover because I'm obsessed with Joan. This girl is EVERYWHERE!

JNBY Soho, New York Store
When I went to NYC a few weeks ago, I discovered a brand called JNBY (aka Just Naturally Be Yourself. I've heard of this brand from friends quite awhile back (and of course, the NY Times) but I never really had the chance to visit. They recently approached me to document a mini-shopping trip while I pick some of my favourite pieces at the store. Check it out.
JNBY is located at:
75 Greene St.
New York, NY 10012

Cocktail O'Clock
Here's something for the ladies (gents and gentle gays) out there.
Sometimes (as long as you're of legal drinking age), a little bit of vodka doesn't hurt after a long hard day's of work.
Click HERE to view some of my favourite cocktail recipes.
It's 2:05AM in Milan. Gotta wake up early for tomorrow morning's Moschino show. Anna Dello Russo is styling it!

Hello Kitty McDonald's
In Taipei, two of the world's biggest enterprises collaborated: American McDonald's and Japanese Hello Kitty. Collaborations like this are nothing new. I thought it was cute. I don't remember seeing anything like this in the Philippines.

No trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to Versailles. You can get there by private car or you may also take the RER train like millions of people who flock there each year.
Guess what greeted me upon exiting the (Versailles Rive Gauche) train station?
Oh yes. And right next door to the left is Starbucks.
I squealed with delight when I saw Starbucks because I haven't had an iced cafe latte in months. An American mother practically had an orgasm when she overheard my conversation with my companion David. "Starbucks? Where? Now you're talking..."
It's funny how strong American influence is eh?
It's 5:25PM on a Monday here in Paris. After seeing lots of my American New Yorker friends last night at the New York, New York party at Le Montana, I'm currently craving for good ol' Americana.
Last time I went to McDonald's was, oh gosh, a month ago when I went to Stockholm.
Mmmm.... chicken nuggets. Need I say more?
Would it be wrong if I go to McDonald's here in Paris? Hmmm...
I'm halfway around the world by the time you're reading this post.
Can you guess my destination based on what I've packed in my hand luggage?

I go weak in the knees every time I see tall cute guys so imagine my surprise when this guy showed up. I think I know who he is... James is datchu?
Anyhoo, it's been an interesting mix of commentators over the past few days: Melaney Rickey, the Fashion Editor-at-Large of

designers Fred Butler, Louise Goldin and Mary Katrantzou, model Erin o'Connor,
Gillian Wilkins of British Vogue, Italian Vogue's Edward Enninful,

Nuffnang Philippines
Nuffnang, Asia's first blog advertising community is now available in the Philippines! I met up with Timothy, one of the Malaysia-based co-founders a few months back here in Manila.

I know right? I was so thin back then. Haha.
If, like me, you regularly visit Singaporean and Malaysian blogs, chances are that you may have noticed Nuffnang ads being displayed on their sites. Nuffnang is so successful in both countries that they want to replicate its success here in cesspit of the third world.

Poker for a Royal Cause by Tessa Prieto-Valdes
Solitaire and a game called "bluff" (in America, I think they call it "bullshit"... remember that film How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days with Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey? yeah, that's the one) are the only two card games that I know. My Swedish friend Niklas taught me another game when he visited me about two years ago. It's been so long I can't for the life of god remember what it was.
Speaking of card games, the ever so flamboyant Filipina socialite Tessa Prieto-Valdes is hosting a charity poker event this weekend to benefit the Makati branch of the Philippine National Red Cross. I like Tessa. Even my ghetto ass mother is a big fan of Tessa after watching her on TV a few times. (Sorry ma but I have an event to plug! lol). I've met her once at the Marc by Marc Jacobs party earlier this year and she seems to be nice.

Controversial Filipina actress Gretchen Barretto (in yellow) is on the cover of Mega Magazine this month.
Like my friend Chuvaness, for a 40+ year old woman, she's really not bad looking. Click click click!
